Portfolio Manager (f/m/x) Commodities and Institutions

We offer multifaceted tasks

- You can look forward to joining a highly proficient team, where you will manage an international portfolio consisting of trade and commodity finance, ECA-covered export finance, syndicated and trade loans.
- You will be the main contact person with regards to the existing portfolio for our customers, especially global commodity traders/producers, financial institutions and sovereigns, as well as for our internal colleagues from departments including origination, credit analysis, compliance and payment management, and the regional offices in places such as Brazil, Johannesburg, Istanbul and Mumbai.
- You will negotiate and review international loan agreements with the support of our legal department and external law firms. In doing so, you will also take into account the highest environmental and social standards.
- By regularly monitoring covenants and contractual information obligations, you will identify negative developments at an early stage and process follow-up credit decisions.
- You will continuously enhance your sector, product and international knowledge and take advantage of specific further training opportunities.

Your competencies and experiences

- You have a degree in a business-related field or a similar qualification.
- You have subsequently gained experience in international corporate and export finance.
- Your expertise in conducting contract negotiations, in managing portfolio exposure (including ECA-covered finance) and in assessing credit risks makes you a trustworthy and competent contact person for our international customers.
- You enjoy getting to grips with complex matters. In your daily dealings with others, people can rely on your judgement as well as on your results and team spirit.
- You are able to convince customers and partners with your structured approach combined with clear professional communication in German, English and ideally another foreign language, preferably French.
- Your profile is rounded off by a willingness to undertake worldwide business trips lasting several days.
