Main Position Darmstadt, Germany
to carry out Business Control Activities for the North East Europe Region, including GER, AT, CR, CH, DK and SE. This Position is to be filled immediately with unlimited contract.
Your Mission:
Handle the Group and Zone Reporting / Develop the Management Control within the zone
Assist the local management in the assessment and the monitoring of the operational and financial performance of the Zone and the individual countries and locations.
Provide all relevant information to impulse and facilitate the decision process for the Zone General Manager and the operation managers.
Anticipate performance issues, alert the Zone General manager (and the Group CFO if necessary) of any deviations, propose corrective actions to restore expected trend.
Organize the budget campaign within the zone in accordance with Group guidelines.
Produce monthly business review documents with input from zone operational and functional managers for Zone General Manager and Group HQ.
What youll need to succeed:
Master degree or equivalent, ideally specialized in audit and management control. You have at least 4 years of experience in finance with an audit firm and/or within a Group.
Strong communication skills (in German and especially in English), to facilitate local integration and exchanges with employees as well as upper level managers.
Ability to propose recommendations and solutions, Troubleshooting as well.
Not afraid to take the lead for projects to completion, especially in environment that may lack some structuration in some cases, after acquisition of a new company, or development in a new area.
Good knowledge of Management Control instruments.
Very good MS office Skills, especially Excel.
