Take over responsibility for the TID statutory financials, with direct reporting to TID director finance. Team with your peers in charge of US GAAP and tax. Areas:
Own the statutory P&L and Balance sheet for Texas Instruments Deutschland GmbH, manage the financial close pro*cess for statutory and support the US-GAAP financials in close cooperation with the area managers for US GAAP and tax
Ensure robust internal controls, lead the process of creating and maintaining guidelines for the statutory financials (accounting, close, reporting)
Drive standardization, rationalization and documentation for existing and new processes in alignment with common TI processes and in close cooperation with major stakeholders within TID finance and other departments, HR, Sales & Marketing, Export control, Accounts Payable
Be first contact for external auditors and external advisors for statutory financials, keep up to date with local changes and constantly align with the area managers for US GAAP and tax
Supervise Capital Accounting and Make Accounting
Team and cooperate with Central Finance EMEA and US
Be an active member in all forthcoming financial EMEA projects (changes to legal entity structures, revenue models, introduction of systems)
Build strong relationships with the various stake holders
Basic Qualifications:
Master degree in business administration / economics required with main focus in accounting and finance. Good legal understanding helpful
Ideally 3 or more years of professional experience in finance, accounting, audit, consultancy (Big 4 experience helpful)
Experience in local and international accounting rules
Very good knowledge in English and German, additional EMEA languages welcome
